Went to a pub in Surrey yesterday and, whilst waiting for someone, I’ve ordered a pint of coke. Guess what the price was! I dare you! I double dare you! It was £2.90! 2 fucking 90! And it wasn’t even proper coke – it was one of those tap cokes!
I couldn’t believe it – how much did it cost to produce? 10p? Not calculate their markup!

• The latest attempt is from labs.schwuk.com (64.62.231.7) – tried to login as root, daemon, games, news, www-data, sshd, postfix, mysql & nobody. Apparently, http://schwuk.com is “the online home of Dave Murphy (aka schwuk) – FOSS advocate and developer-at-large.”
• 124.30.42.3 – an ip somewhere inside the Sify network (broadband services mainly in India).
• 78.107.70.1 – an ip somwhere the russian Corbina network

My sistem in law purchased, recently, a new Lenovo laptop and it came with Vista (excuse my French). Now, after 2 months, she’s complaining about it being slow…

I’ve had a look at it today and it’s been taking ages to start.

Talking about friendliness and usability, I’ve been informed that my ‘Windows Experience Index score’ is 3.1. No shit, Einstein!?! And the biggest button on that page was ‘Learn how to improve your score’ which tells you to buy more hardware.

No wonder people are downgrading to XP.
